In this important role in their automotive service departments you will be fully competent in the servicing and repair of vehicles, to the highest manufacturer standards. As well as technical competence in the mechanics of a vehicle, you may have a thorough knowledge of the electrical and electronic components of a vehicle and be comfortable with using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults. You should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, ensuring you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will ideally live within the Warwickshire area or be able to travel to the Coventry area and not only be fully qualified as a Car Technician but also be used to and experienced in working in a main dealer.
